Which came first: the trust, or the vulnerability?

This workshop focuses on inviting others in – sometimes more than once. All relationships, including the one you have with yourself, are built on trust. It’s a risky game and the stakes are high, but the reward creates whole futures from blank space. 

In this workshop we’ll examine the limits and boundaries of trust, learn and share strategies for nurturing vulnerability and connection, and figure out how to start over when shit goes south.

This workshop is not just about romantic relationships — it’s for any relationship that keeps you alive. Friends, lovers, neighbors, even bosses — the one thing they all have in common is that things are better when you believe in each other.

This workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19 at 7:00 pm ET. It will be recorded and made available to ticket holders for 30 days after the event. 

This workshop is led by Cavanaugh Quick, LCSW! Cavanaugh (they/them) is a Black femme, among other things. They are a social worker by nature and by nurture. They are an abolitionist, a licensed clinical social worker, and a NYS-certified rape crisis counselor. For 20 years, they have worked alongside queer and trans folx to cultivate leadership, autonomy, and pleasure. Clinically, they specialize in interpersonal trauma, sex, gender, and sexuality. In community, they teach provider education and sexual health and wellness.
