Holiday 2021 Shipping and Order FAQs

Hello hello! 


Over the past few months, you’ve probably heard a lot of things about the supply chain, item shortages, and shipping times and costs. This page is also going to talk about that, because for the 2021 holiday season, it’s a big deal – especially for small businesses.

Here are some of the questions y’all have asked me about holiday shipping this year, as well as other miscellaneous questions. If your question isn’t answered, feel free to reach out to info@cassandracorrado.com and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. 

The information on this page applies to orders as of October 25, 2021.


1. What is the last day to order something for it to arrive by Christmas Eve?

For orders within the U.S., the last day to place an order will be December 14, 2021. If you are placing an international order, I recommend placing your order by December 1, 2021. International orders take a very long time to move through customs right now, and even orders to Canada may take longer than three weeks. 

In previous years, I have not recommended upgrading to Priority Mail service because it has run at the same pace as First-Class Mail. However, for 2021 I recommend upgrading to Priority Mail if you place your order after December 10, 2021. 


2. Can I get my item gift wrapped?

I won’t be offering gift wrap this year. However, shirts and pins always come wrapped. Stickers are packaged within a card. So, your order will already be a little dressed up. 


3. The thing I want is marked out of stock. Is there a chance it’ll come back before the order cutoff date?

Honestly, probably not. I began ordering items for the winter 2021 season back in late September. Many shirt styles and sizes are entirely unavailable from my distributor right now, as are many books, toys, and lubricants. If you’re curious about a specific item’s restock timeline, you can email me.

Please note that the Do It for the Dopamine baseball t-shirts and all short-sleeved crop tops will not be restocked for the foreseeable future. 

 

4. Can I include a gift note?

Yep! Just add your note in the “notes” section of checkout. I’ll add it to your package! 

 

5. I’m ordering something as a gift. Is there anything special I need to do?

Here are a few tips for making sure that your gifted item arrives promptly: 

  • Make sure to include the recipient’s name on the shipping address. I have had packages returned before because apartment buildings have refused items addressed to people they don’t recognize, even though the address was correct.
  • Make sure to include an apartment or unit number, if applicable.
  • Include your gift note in the “notes” section!

If I have any other questions about your gift order, I will reach out to you. Financial receipts are never included in a package, so don’t worry about the price being shown. 

 

6. What are the shipping rates? 

Through February 2022, the following rates are in effect within the United States: 

  • Stickers and pins ship for free 
  • Orders over $100 ship for free 
  • All other US-based orders ship for either $5.90 (first-class mail holiday rate), $7.90 (lightweight Priority Mail), or $10.90 (heavy priority mail).

For international packages, rates will be automatically calculated for you at checkout. International orders are priced at the exact cost of mailing your item — I know that these rates are high right now, but they are what they are. For international orders, I recommend choosing USPS whenever possible, otherwise you may be subject to a customs brokerage fee of $20+ USD. USPS pays this fee for you. 

 

7. Can I return or exchange my item?

The following items are eligible for return or exchange: 

  • Unworn clothing
  • Prints, stickers, or pins that arrive damaged 

To request a return or exchange, please reach out via email at info@cassandracorrado.com within 14 days of receiving your order (you can also reply to your order confirmation email). 

Tickets to live or pre-recorded workshops will not be refunded unless the event access information has not been shared with the customer yet.

 

8. How long does it take to ship an order?

From November 1, 2021-February 28, 2022, I will be shipping out all first-class mail orders on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. 

Orders placed before 1 pm ET Monday-Friday with Priority Mail selected will ship out the same day. 

Please note: All pre-order items will be shipped according to the timeline on the listing and in your confirmation email. I will be shipping out pre-ordered items no later than December 7, 2021, and I expect to be able to ship those much earlier.
